Duong Quoc Hoang earned his place in the quarterfinals of the All Star Vietnam Invitational 2026.
The All Star Vietnam Invitational billiard tournament is drawing huge interest from billiard fans, as it is the first time a playground has emerged that brings together Vietnam's top players in a "super tournament" format for champions. The event runs from May 13 to 17 in Hanoi, featuring the 10-ball discipline with a total prize fund of up to 425 million VND.
A special feature of the tournament is the presence of 11 Vietnamese national champions from the past 10 years, along with 5 Fan Vote slots for players who received the most votes from the audience. This creates a competition that both highlights professional skill and boosts fan engagement.

After three intense days of competition, the organizers have identified eight outstanding players who advanced to the quarterfinals: Duong Quoc Hoang, Luong Duc Thien, Pham Phuong Nam, Nguyen Van Dang, Ta Van Linh, Do The Kien, Bui Truong An, and Nguyen Hoang Minh Tai.
In the final round of group play, there were many surprises. Although Tkon secured a decisive victory over Le Quang Trung, this result was not enough to send him through, as Bui Truong An staged an impressive comeback against Thanh Nam to claim a spot in the knockout stage.
