Dương Quốc Hoàng claimed the HBSF – MIN Table championship after a thrilling final against his close friend Phạm Phương Nam. The match this afternoon met fans’ expectations: a tight, intense, and fierce battle up to an 8-8 tie. The decisive moment occurred in the 18th frame when Nam Phạm made a foul on ball number 5, allowing Hoàng Sao to capitalize on the opportunity and secure an 11-8 victory, winning the title deservedly.

Previously, both players advanced to the final following convincing semifinal wins. Dương Quốc Hoàng defeated Hồ Minh Hánh 10-3 with superior performance, while Phạm Phương Nam also overcame Nguyễn Văn Hưng Phú 10-3, demonstrating excellent form. Their final rematch was thus considered the dream showdown of the 2025 Mini Table event.
The HBSF – MIN Table 2025 Championship, held from December 1 to 5 at Rạch Miễu Sports Hall (Ho Chi Minh City), featured 170 of Vietnam’s top players alongside international guests. This event served as the final stage of the HBSF Tour – a tournament series known as the "World Cup of Vietnamese billiards." This year’s competition stood out for its high level of professionalism and generous prizes, including a top award of 100 million VND for men’s Carom 3-cushion, 70 million VND for men’s Pool 9-ball, plus various additional rewards.
The presence of prominent figures such as Trần Quyết Chiến, Bao Phương Vinh, Chiêm Hồng Thái, Nguyễn Khánh Hoàng, and Dương Quốc Hoàng further elevated the tournament to the year-end spotlight. Hoàng Sao’s victory not only closed an emotionally rich final but also marked a perfect conclusion to the thrilling HBSF 2025 season.
