Riot today announced new rules for the 2025 League of Legends Dreadnought Draft (Global BP) rules, which will apply to the five global regions (LPL, LCK, LEC, LTA, LTA, LPP, LPP, LP, LP
Under the new rules, heroes selected in each match will be banned for the rest of the series, ensuring that teams cannot use heroes that have already appeared in the series. This also means that 10 new heroes will be added to each match that cannot be used by either team.
If a BO5 match is full, then there will be 50 different heroes on the field, which can ensure that even in the fifth round of BO5, there will be no repeated choices, and the game will be more exciting and test the player's hero pool.
According to Riot, the move is aimed at making the game more enjoyable and competitive, bringing a richer hero pool and more exciting confrontations to the audience.
