DRG kicked off by winning the pistol round and the economy round, and when they reached the rifle round, FPX began to close the gap with a remarkable 6:1 mini-surge due to their outstanding defensive strategy. After a timely timeout, DRG managed to score two points to reduce the deficit. In the final round of the first half, DRG made a heavy push towards A site, but FPX quickly noticed and took control of A small. DRG's players were swiftly eliminated, leaving Nicc isolated at A large. FPX seized the opportunity to secure victory, entering the second half with a 7:5 advantage.

In the second half, DRG equalized by scoring two points, but once they entered the rifle round, FPX maintained control. FPX effectively countered vo0kashu's defense, making it difficult for DRG to handle Life's entry, leading to continuous scoring by FPX. Reluctantly, DRG called their last timeout to strategize. Upon returning, DRG successfully exploited FPX's weaknesses to break through, but autumn single-handedly roamed B site, using Viper's abilities to split DRG with an incredible 1v4 play. After FPX reached match point, they confidently dismantled DRG's final offensive, winning Image 1 with a score of 12:7.

DRG once again won the pistol round and collected economic points, leading to a thrilling back-and-forth battle. FPX caught up in the rifle round, with both teams closely contesting. In the 12th round, FPX used Mirage's ultimate to forcefully advance into A site to plant the explosive device, while Joy sneaked into the middle to disrupt DRG's defense, helping FPX secure victory. The first half ended in a tense 6:6 tie.

FPX lost the fourth pistol round of the day and the subsequent economy round. Entering the rifle round, DRG learned from previous mistakes, securing a crucial point through SpiritZ1's outstanding play, which shattered FPX's economy and gave DRG a significant lead. With their momentum, DRG continued to expand their lead, nearing match point, forcing FPX to use their first timeout of the round. However, the late adjustments did not yield significant results, and DRG continued their winning streak to end the second half with seven consecutive victories, leveling the series at 1:1.

FPX finally secured their first pistol round victory of the day, maximizing the potential of their duelists who could shoot for free. After building their economy, they allowed Gale and Night Dew to set up double snipers, putting immense psychological pressure on DRG. FPX scored continuously, gaining a substantial lead in the first half. After DRG called two timeouts, they still struggled to reverse the tide, only managing to stop their losing streak in the 11th round thanks to Nicc's impressive performance. In the 12th round, DRG focused their attack on B site, but FPX's defensive coordination was flawless, easily dismantling DRG's assault, leading to a 10:2 lead at halftime.

With high morale, FPX entered the second half but faced a strong counterattack from DRG in the pistol round. The following events seemed to switch scripts, with DRG taking advantage of their defensive position to completely suppress FPX's duelists, rapidly narrowing the score gap to around three points, prompting FPX to call their first timeout. After the timeout, FPX managed to secure match point, but DRG continued to chase hard. In the final moments before both teams could equalize, FPX called another timeout for last-minute adjustments, finally withstanding DRG's fierce counterattack, winning with a score of 13:11 and successfully avoiding overtime to claim victory in today's BO3 match.
