VCTCN: Rarga's heat gun shone brightly as XLG defeated WOL 2-0.

On the fifth match day of the second week of the second stage of the 2025 VCTCN regular season, XLG achieved a two-match winning streak by defeating the Wolves 2-0.

In the first half, XLG won the pistol round, while WOL eliminated XLG's controlling Youying at point C in the third round. They then took down XLG in the garage and at point B to secure some bonus points. In the fifth round, the Wolves successfully defended against XLG’s attack at point A, scoring two consecutive points. In the seventh round, the Wolves countered at point A, taking down XLG in a three-on-two situation. The Wolves achieved three consecutive victories, but in the eighth round, XLG's ECO round focused on point A, eliminating three Wolves and successfully turning the tide for saving points. In the ninth round, Lysoar defended at point A, taking down three enemies successfully. The first half ended in a tight 6-6 draw between both teams.

In the second half, the Wolves won the pistol round. In the fifteenth round, XLG took down two Wolves in the garage and outside point B, but the Wolves slowly approached point B and were caught by XLG. In the sixteenth round, the Wolves pushed together to point B, but XLG countered with a smoke tactic from both sides, defeating the Wolves. XLG scored three consecutive points. In the eighteenth round, the Wolves attacked point A, taking down XLG's defense inside the point. In the twenty-first round, XLG held point A, eliminating four enemies at A large and small. SiuFatBB, carrying the bomb, attempted to turn the tide but was ultimately taken down by XLG, giving them match point. In the twenty-second round, XLG directly eliminated the Wolves' offense at C large, winning decisively, with XLG taking the match 13-9 at the Hidden Repair Institute.

In the first half, XLG won three consecutive points, but in the fifth round, the Wolves managed to win, after which XLG regained control of the match rhythm. In the tenth round, the Wolves defended point A, taking down four XLG players, leaving only happywei, who was eliminated by SiuFatBB. In the eleventh round, during XLG's ECO round, they grouped up to plant at point C, gaining a numerical advantage but were ultimately taken down by SiuFatBB's triple kill. In the twelfth round, the Wolves successfully defended at point C, with happywei achieving a three-kill in a two-on-one situation. The first half ended with XLG leading 7-5 against WOL.

In the second half, the Wolves won the pistol round, leveling the score. XLG successfully won the bonus round. In the sixteenth round, during a long gun duel, the Wolves approached A large, and as the smoke cleared, XLG eliminated two Wolves. The remaining three Wolves attempted to rotate to B but were taken down, resulting in a perfect team wipe for XLG. XLG scored three consecutive points. In the eighteenth round, XLG took control of A large, eliminating Xiaochun, forcing the Wolves to rotate to C, where XLG successfully defended and won. In the nineteenth round, the Wolves broke through XLG's defense at point A, successfully capturing it. In the twentieth round, XLG took A large, easily defeating three Wolves. In the twenty-first round, during the match point round, XLG held point C, eliminating three Wolves. Although the Wolves used Qile's ultimate to plant the bomb, XLG's counterattack resulted in another perfect team wipe, with XLG winning 13-8 at Lotus Ancient City.
