On July 14, GEN defeated DRX 2-1 in the upper bracket final of the second stage of the VCT Pacific Division, and GEN advanced to the finals.

Figure 1 Hermitage GEN played a 13-9 score, and Figure 2 Sunset City was taken by DRX 13-10. The key figure 3 source power town GEN 13-6 didn't give DRX any chance and directly knocked it into the lower bracket.

So far, GEN has reached the finals in all the official VCT tournaments it has participated in this year. From the Kick-off Tournament, Stage 1 and Stage 2 in the Pacific Division, as well as the two Masters, GEN reached the finals. At present, GEN has reached five finals and won the championship twice (including the second stage of the finals).

DRX will drop to the lower bracket finals and will await the winner of PRX vs. TLN for the final spot.
