BLG transfer insider revealed: they already wanted to replace Bin during the MSI period, but no good top laner was willing to come.

The hottest topic in the past couple of days has been BLG's top laner swap. Yesterday, Bin officially posted on Weibo stating he would temporarily leave the scene to reset his condition. Soon after, BLG announced their lineup for the new season.

After that, new rumors appeared in the LPL, disclosing some behind-the-scenes details of BLG's transfer window.

Transfer insider exposed: they had been planning to replace Bin for a long time.

Not long after Bin’s Weibo post, BLG officially announced top laner Wenbo. This Wenbo was promoted from the second team during the second split when Bin had a tantrum, and is said to be of average skill. After bringing in Wenbo, many assumed Bin wouldn’t be away long, but later leaks told a different story.

Hongcha revealed four internal situations about BLG's transfer period, asking everyone to choose which ones they believed were true.

The first is that BLG already had thoughts of making changes when MSI ended. The second is that BLG contacted two top laners, but both clearly refused to come. The third is that on the day the news broke, the team had already reported to the league, and they would likely add more players later. The last is that there might be a hidden problem within BLG's team.

Out of the four leaks, two insiders directly replied underneath saying all four were true!

These four, upon a little analysis, all seem very plausible. The most ambiguous one is the third, because it is unclear which day "the news broke" refers to. If it refers to MSI, then it overlaps with the first. If it refers to yesterday's Bin announcement, then reporting to the league and adding another top laner besides Wenbo.

Bring in another top laner to put pressure on Bin.

Beyond the well-known LPL leakers, there is also a platform (Douban) that often provides accurate leaks. Someone gave additional information: even after BLG announced the roster, changes can still be made later. The transfer period will last until mid-August. This corresponds to the third point above—BLG is still going to bring in another top laner.

Combining the previous leaks, if BLG only has Wenbo as the top laner, then it's widely believed that Wenbo will only play a few games before Bin returns.

But if BLG brings in another top laner, it truly shows they want to accept the possibility of playing without Bin.

Earlier it was said that two top laners had already rejected BLG, most likely 369 and Hoya. 369 previously stated he would not leave his team, and after resting he hadn't touched LoL for a long time. As for Hoya, Zhukai explicitly stated that he definitely would not go to BLG.

Another important reason for not going to BLG is the pressure. 369 already has a bad reputation; if he performs poorly at BLG, he might become a scapegoat, paving the way for Bin's return. It's similar for Hoya. Last year, BLG brought Beichuan from TT, hoping he could realize his dreams, but now he has no matches to play.

Speculation on internal trouble: there might be a faction that supports Bin.

Finally, the most noteworthy insider leak is the fourth one, saying that BLG might have a hidden problem. Personally, a common guess is Viper's hand injury, which he had treated before, but that's not explosive enough. Another guess is that there is a pro-Bin faction within BLG, and their mentality also collapsed.

Viewers speculate that besides Bin, another BLG player's mentality also collapsed, possibly On. On has always been an unstable point in the team's performance. If On's mentality also falls apart, it will be very difficult for BLG to achieve good results.

In short, BLG now faces a huge test after the top laner issue. It's possible that BLG could have maintained a good state, but with Bin's bad attitude, BLG might start going downhill.
