VCT Masters: PRX dominates pistol rounds and shows no mercy, defeating FUR 2-1 after dropping the first map.

At the Valorant Santiago Masters Winners Group first round, PRX defeated FUR 2-1, securing a spot in the Winners Group semifinals.

Map 1: Abyss

Defending side FUR: Omen, Viper, KAY/O, Neon, Sova

Attacking side PRX: Astra, Yoru, Chamber, Omen, Phoenix

In the first half, artzin fell first, causing the retake to fail and losing the pistol round. Then, d4v41 delivered a quad kill to claim another round.

PRX continued scoring, with both daffo and something performing strongly, securing five rounds. In round 7, FUR executed dynamic defense, neutralizing two duelist ultimates from PRX, and set up a heavy defense at point A, wiping out PRX entirely.

In round 8, koalanoob took down three opponents at point C. Both sides exchanged fire at C, resulting in a 4-for-4 trade, and eeiu ultimately won the 1v1 clutch.

Through exceptional discipline and coordination, backed by eeiu's clutch performances, FUR successfully leveled the score, ending the first half 6-6.

Entering the second half, FUR lost the pistol round but then staged a comeback. In round 16, something pulled off a 1v2 clutch, deceiving FUR's positioning to secure the win.

After winning, PRX called a tactical pause. Post-pause, PRX continued to secure the first kill at B, but FUR relied on team synergy and high-level discipline to take rounds.

FUR achieved a four-round streak, consistently gaining points. In round 21, d4v41 used the Operator to eliminate FUR's primary smoke, reclaiming a round. However, in round 22, nerve won a 1v1 clutch against something. FUR won Map 1 with a 13-9 score.

Map 2: Breeze

In the first half, FUR started catching up from the bonus round. In round 5, alym executed calmly, allowing opponents to retake before eliminating two PRX players, leading a triple kill to win the round.

In round 6, after daffo secured a triple kill with the Operator to hold the point, d4v41 deployed Viper's ultimate Poison Cloud, enabling PRX to narrowly secure the round.

PRX achieved a four-round streak. In round 10, after FUR's tactical pause, FUR gained a numerical advantage, but something entered a high-sensitivity moment, winning the retake with a triple kill and displaying "classic maneuvers".

The first half saw PRX secure a seven-round streak, ending with a 9-3 lead.

Entering the second half, PRX won three consecutive rounds to reach match point. FUR reclaimed one round, but in round 17, FUR's mid lane was breached. PRX won Map 2 with a 13-4 score.

Map 3: Neon City

Attacking side FUR: Astra, Yoru, Omen, Viper, Phantom

In the first half, both teams secured three rounds each, remaining evenly matched. Round 7 featured another rifle duel; FUR quickly entered point B to plant the spike, engaging in intense gunfire with PRX's retake, and FUR successfully won.

FUR achieved a six-round streak. In round 11, PRX relied on tactics and team coordination to end the losing streak, then secured another round in the final round of the first half. The first half ended with FUR leading 7-5 over PRX.

Entering the second half, PRX again won the pistol round. Across this match, PRX secured all six pistol rounds.

During FUR's bonus round, facing PRX's attack, FUR was trapped at spawn unable to cross, and PRX achieved a four-round streak.

In round 17, FUR again equipped rifles but still failed to stop PRX's assault at point B.

PRX did not drop a single round in the second half, achieving an eight-round streak to reverse and win the match, advancing to the Winners Group semifinals.
