In the 2026 VCTCN Starting Point event's first round of the losers bracket, JDG overcame FPX 2-1 and moved on to the second round against TEC.

In the first half, FPX won the pistol round on defense, while JDG’s bonus round at site B disrupted FPX’s retake, losing only two weapons.
JDG scored three consecutive rounds; in round 6, JDG feinted at site A, then rushed to B after planting, FPX was outnumbered 2v3 but was outplayed by stew.
JDG achieved five straight wins; in round 8, FPX finally gathered intel at the front position and successfully defended site A against JDG’s attack.
In round 9, Zhe caught Life pushing early, JDG rushed the site but failed to coordinate the search, allowing Ayang and BerLIN to eliminate JDG’s attackers and secure the round.
In round 11, Ayang held the mid lane against JDG’s assault, delivering a quad kill to lead the team to victory.
FPX gradually found their rhythm, winning five rounds in a row and gaining a two-point lead by halftime.

In the second half, FPX won the pistol round again; in round 15, with all teammates down, Ayang single-handedly scored an ACE.
FPX went on a six-round winning streak in the second half, closing out Deep Sea Pearl with a 13-5 victory.

In the first half, Yuicaw’s triple kill led the team to win the pistol round. In round 3, FPX pushed through A short, but JDG’s retake from front and back was thwarted by BerLIN’s clutch defense.
In round 4, Life’s silent approach was countered by Yuicaw, but FPX still managed to plant at B main; JDG’s retake trapped FPX at the spike site and eliminated them.
In round 6, JDG held the bathroom area firmly, making FPX’s forced A push awkward; FPX was stalled and eventually eliminated by JDG’s pincer attack.
FPX tended to group up, while lone flanks on the sidelines were ineffective. In round 8, Life and Raiz ulted to enter site A; this time FPX held bathroom and deployed Viper’s poison cloud at the spike, securing their second point.
In round 9, FPX’s four-player attempt to pinch site B was countered by Yuicaw’s aggressive entry fragging four kills, while Ayang’s lone flank on the sideline was ineffective.
FPX’s offense in the first half lacked rhythm, allowing JDG to reach 10 points.

After switching sides, JDG immediately won three rounds in a row, clinching the victory at Source Industry Stronghold.

In the first half, JDG won the minor skirmishes; in round 3, FPX clashed with JDG’s heavy defense at site C, but Ayang eliminated JDG’s retake from the garage corridor to secure the round.
FPX went on a four-round winning streak; in round 7, FPX failed to penetrate site C and, at the last moment, rotated to site A but was stopped by JDG’s retake.
In round 10, Life played an aggressive role, and FPX caught JDG’s retake at site C to win the round.
In round 12, FPX planted at site B, but JDG’s retake cleared the spike site and eliminated Ayang and BerLIN outside, leveling the match at 6-6.

In the second half, coconut won a 1v1 pistol duel to lead the team; in round 15, stew swiftly rotated behind enemy lines, securing a quad kill and wiping out FPX’s bonus round.
jkruo made impact plays in two consecutive rounds with a triple kill followed by a quad kill, forcing FPX to call their last timeout.
In round 19, Yuicaw was located but won the gunfight, gaining a numbers advantage; JDG then directly took site C to claim the round.
In round 20, Yuicaw secured the opening kill mid, while Zhe and Yelu ulted to push site A for information, and jkuro’s Phantom ult activated.
