On January 25, Beijing time, in the final of the VCTCN Start Point Competition, EDG defeated TE 3-1 to win the Start Point Championship.

At the end of the competition, the draw ceremony for the first stage of VCTCN will be held.

Group A: EDG, DRG, FPX, NOVA, TEC, TYL

Group O: TE, BLG, XLG, JDG, WOL, AG

VCTCN Stage 1 competition time: March 22 - April 25. Playoffs: May 3 – May 16.

The first stage will result in three Toronto Masters spots.
