WBG2-1 defeated JDG, making a successful debut at the Demacia Cup! Jiejie performed excellently, with flawless coordination between the jungle and mid lanes.

During the second stage of the Demacia Cup group stage, WBG and JDG clashed in a BO3, both using their new season lineups. WBG’s roster included Zika top, jiejie jungle, Xiaohu mid, and ELK plus Erha in the bottom lane; JDG’s lineup consisted of Xiaoxu top, junjia jungle, HongQ mid, and Gala with Vampire bot. Ultimately, WBG won 2-1, securing a victorious debut with their new roster!

In game one, WBG’s lineup was Yahang top, Stone jungler, Orianna mid, and Kai'Sa with Rell bot; JDG played Jax top, Qiyana jungle, Viktor mid, and Senna with Braum bot. At 5 minutes, junjia’s Qiyana ganked top, killing Zika and securing first blood for JDG. JDG pushed down the bottom first turret early and claimed two dragons, while WBG took the Rift Herald, with both teams’ gold nearly even. Around 20 minutes, both sides fought over Elder Dragon; Zika’s Yahang TP’d down but was heavily damaged, allowing JDG to secure it. Then jiejie’s Stone ulted four players, enabling WBG to counterattack and trade one for three. At 25 minutes, JDG’s top and jungle attempted to catch Zika’s Yahang, but Zika skillfully held out until teammates arrived. WBG then counterengaged, killing two JDG members, taking the first Baron, and securing a dragon soul advantage.

At 29 minutes, while WBG pushed top with buffs, Xiaoxu’s Jax initiated a fight; junjia’s Qiyana ulted onto ELK’s Kai'Sa, instantly killing her. JDG managed a flawless 3-for-0 exchange, halting WBG’s advance. Later, at 32 minutes, WBG secured the second Baron, but in the ensuing team fight, ELK’s Kai'Sa was killed again. JDG traded one for two and gained a dragon soul threat. At 38 minutes, Xiaoxu’s Jax was surrounded and killed by three enemies mid lane. WBG then chose to contest the Elder Dragon; ELK’s Kai'Sa stole it, and WBG pushed straight to win the first game. ELK’s Kai'Sa dealt the highest damage for WBG, while HongQ’s Viktor led JDG’s damage output.

In the second game, JDG fielded Quasanti top, Vi jungle, Taliyah mid, and Sivir with Alistar bot; WBG chose Sion top, Troll jungle, Malzahar mid, and Varus with Poppy bot. Early on, jiejie’s Troll was caught and killed in the jungle, and HongQ’s Taliyah secured first blood. JDG took the first turret top and claimed two dragons, while WBG got the Rift Herald. JDG led gold by about 2k.

At 17 minutes, both teams contested the dragon; WBG started it, but Vampire’s Alistar engaged and forced WBG back, allowing JDG to claim the dragon soul threat. At 21 minutes, JDG swiftly secured the Elder Dragon. At 24 minutes, during another dragon fight, Xiaoxu’s Quasanti initiated on ELK’s Varus, while HongQ’s Taliyah stole the Dragon Soul. JDG won the team fight with a 4-for-1 exchange. At 26 minutes, Erha’s Poppy engaged on HongQ’s Taliyah but lacked damage, leading to JDG counterattacking, killing WBG’s top and jungle, and taking the first Baron. JDG ultimately won the second game, evening the series. The MVP was awarded to junjia’s Vi.

The third game was blind pick mode: WBG played Yahang top, Jayce jungle, Orianna mid, and Senna with Neeko bot; JDG fielded Quasanti top, Jayce jungle, Azir mid, and Senna with Neeko bot. At 4 minutes, jiejie’s Jayce ganked bot, killing Vampire’s Neeko and securing first blood for WBG. JDG relentlessly pressured Zika’s Yahang, killing him twice in succession. Early on, WBG destroyed top and bottom outer turrets, took the Rift Herald, and gained a 1k gold lead.

Mid-game, both sides fought over the Elder Dragon; Xiaohu’s Orianna ulted onto junjia’s Jayce, enabling a kill. WBG secured the Elder Dragon and traded 3-for-0 in the fight. At 26 minutes, junjia’s Jayce was caught and killed, allowing WBG to take the first Baron. Finally, at 29 minutes, WBG pushed into the base and destroyed the nexus, winning the match.
