VCT: f0rsakeN’s exceptional gun control achieves a triple kill in one second, PRX wins their first match against NOVA in the ranked game.

During the initial ranked match of the 2025 Valorant Source Energy International Invitational, PRX overcame NOVA to claim their first win.

At the start of the first half, PRX aggressively pushed long B but misjudged, allowing NOVA to rush A and secure the big kill. Ezeir flanked and, with OBONE inside the site, eliminated most of PRX, giving NOVA the pistol round. NOVA’s decisive command and strong gunfights led to a three-round winning streak. In round 4, PRX’s eco round saw all five players group up and push B aggressively, coordinating trades to wipe out NOVA and complete a comeback.

PRX’s dominant defensive pushes earned them four consecutive wins. In round 8, NOVA struggled but managed to secure the rifle round by pulling back. Round 9 featured a showtime moment from the big kill, with flawless gun control resulting in a four-kill defense. PRX’s coordinated pushes gave them a numbers advantage and they returned to defense, embodying the philosophy that the best defense is a strong offense. PRX finished the first half with 7 points, while NOVA, after an early three-win streak, was overwhelmed by PRX’s aggressive defense and ended the half with 5 points.

After switching sides in the second half, Invy and Something led their team to win the pistol round. PRX then went on a six-round winning streak, securing a decisive victory at Source Energy Stronghold.
