T1 started the first two games on the red side and easily reached match point. Just when everyone expected a 3-0 sweep, T1 began to falter, giving away two games and pushing the series to a decisive final match.

HLE, having won the next two games, gained momentum and the audience thought T1 might collapse. However, T1’s entire roster fired on all cylinders, delivering a crushing blow to HLE. Doran’s Shen countered Zeus’s Camille, nearly solo killing him within three minutes. Oner targeted Zeka’s Kassadin relentlessly early on, securing two kills by seven minutes. On the bot lane, Peyz’s Seraphine dominated the lane, giving T1 a full advantage in the final game and maintaining control throughout, leaving HLE disoriented.

Watching the final game, it’s clear T1 knows how to play to the crowd: winning two games, then throwing two to lure in haters, before ultimately crushing the competition and lifting the trophy in dominant fashion.

The AD carry matchup was significant. Xiao Lübu made frequent mistakes; although he had one good game, overall his errors were noticeable. Peyz was different—despite losing two games, his Aphelios and Ashe performances were at an SVP level. In the final match, his Seraphine completely outclassed Auntie’s support, earning Peyz the FMVP award for the K Cup.

Peyz won the championship and FMVP shortly after joining the team, which sparked considerable controversy. Like with Zeus before, many fans joked that “Egg is just a position.” Although harsh, Auntie’s performance was indeed poor. While Delight is not on Keria’s level as a support, with Viper leading previously, the bot lane could still dominate, so more teamwork practice is needed.

Of course, HLE’s loss to T1 wasn’t just due to the bot lane. Since Kanavi returned to LCK, he’s been the same—constantly invading the enemy jungle, getting caught, and losing his composure. Even in balanced games, he tends to dive recklessly. During the KesPa Cup, HLE’s jungler often suddenly initiated fights mid-game, showing signs of a self-centered playstyle, likely from being spoiled as a star player.

Zeus and Zeka fluctuate between godlike and ghostly performances. When playing well, they are flawless, but at a slight disadvantage, they disappear. This Galaxy Battleship lineup has strong individual talent on paper, but their teamwork and communication need improvement. Kanavi’s lack of discipline must be addressed; his reckless play is often justified by a “plan,” but once he initiates fights, his teammates can’t follow.

After the handshake ceremony, the broadcast showed Egg wiping his eyes, as if shedding little tears. His emotional reaction is understandable—after all, he’s facing his former team, just after winning the World Championship and FMVP, only to be outshined by a newcomer who replaced him. It’s natural to feel upset, but the outcome is set. Hopefully, with further practice, the team will improve and achieve good results.

The Luna combo against Seraphine and Yuumi should have favored Luna’s side, but HLE’s bot lane was sloppy in trading and clearly lacked coordination. Fortunately, this is just the KesPa Cup, where the full starting lineup is primarily for practice. As long as they identify team issues during review, it’s already a gain.
