2026 EMEA League Starting Tournament Round 1 Matchup: BCF vs BBL

On December 12, the EMEA League officially revealed the initial round pairings for the 2026 Starting Tournament.

ULF competing with VIT

In the opening round, BCF meets BBL; these two teams share a deep history. After BCF qualified for the EMEA League, the entire roster transferred to BBL. Five former players will face their old team again, and whether they play aggressively depends on their performance in the match.

The other newly promoted team, ULF, goes up against the reassembled "Galactic Fleet" VIT, putting heavy pressure on their debut.

The four teams from the EMEA League participating in the 2025 Paris Championship—TH, FNC, GX, and TL—will directly start in the winners' bracket second round.

The 2026 four major regions’ Starting Tournament will adopt a triple-elimination format, with the top three teams advancing to the Santiago Masters.

The 2026 EMEA League Starting Tournament will commence on January 20.
