All LPL teams are trash, and the world champion’s candid remarks have sparked heated discussions! Viewers believe he brought this on himself.

Scout’s comeback debut in LCK has generated much attention.

As an LPL champion mid-laner, many fans are eager to know how Scout is doing in the LCK region. Recently, Scout began his first live stream at the NS team’s base. During the broadcast, Scout confessed that having lived in China for so long, he nearly forgot how to speak Korean, making everyday life in Korea quite troublesome. He also complained that the food in the NS team’s cafeteria isn’t as good as JDG’s, saying he now has a “Chinese palate” and constantly misses Chinese cuisine.

After Scout praised Chinese food so highly, many fans asked in the chat whether he plans to return to the LPL to continue his professional career, since he has many supporters there. However, what saddened many fans was Scout’s blunt statement that he will definitely not return to the LPL. He said that while LPL fans and audiences are great, some clubs treat players poorly. He was let down many times during his LPL career and does not want to go back to such a “heartbreaking” place.

Viewers collectively criticized Scout.

After Scout openly complained about being “wronged” by LPL teams, many LPL fans harshly criticized him, saying he brought this upon himself. The reason Scout was “wronged” by LPL clubs was entirely due to his lack of “contractual integrity.” When EDG wanted to keep Scout, they even helped pay his “breach of contract” fees. Yet the next year, Scout betrayed EDG by signing with LNG, which forced him to pay EDG a compensation of up to 30 million yuan. Industry insiders revealed that this 30 million was Scout’s lifetime savings.

Besides betraying EDG, Scout also made a second controversial move last transfer period by abandoning LNG and secretly joining JDG. This decision nearly caused the jungler Xiaotian to lose his job, with the LNG manager even cursing Scout live, calling him “disloyal,” blaming Scout for LNG’s disastrous performance this year. Many fans also don’t understand why Scout wants to return to LCK so badly, since in the LPL he enjoys top-tier salary and popularity.

Only one farewell video in his 10-year career.

Scout started his professional career in the LPL during Season 5, but every time he changed teams, it ended on bad terms with his former clubs. For example, EDG and LNG both threatened to sue him. Throughout his 10 years in the LPL, only JDG made a farewell video for Scout; no other team gave him any send-off wishes. Scout himself publicly thanked JDG during his stream, saying the JDG owner is very kind and that he felt very comfortable there.

Finally, during the stream, Scout also talked about why he underperformed at JDG. He explained that some off-field issues caused him great mental stress, making it hard to focus on matches, which led to multiple mistakes during games. Now that those issues have been resolved, he plans to fully concentrate on LPL competitions and help NS qualify for the World Championship. (Scout has finally returned to the LCK he’s longed for—do you think he can lead NS to Worlds?)
