Kanavi declared he will discipline HLE's team! Zhu Kai volunteered: I can go to BLG to help out.

The LPL winter transfer period is nearly over. Earlier rumors about Uzi returning to competition have been confirmed false. A fan recently encountered Uzi in person and asked if he planned to come back; Uzi said no. So those earlier speculations were just publicity stunts. Still, playing more than ten ranked games daily shows Uzi’s strong love for the game.

When those rumors first appeared, we remained skeptical because given his current situation, a comeback is impossible. Putting aside his skill and form, the birth of his second child before the new year means no support for Uzi’s return to pro play. Even if he wanted to, it would only be feasible after the second split. Most importantly, top teams won’t consider Uzi. Other teams might, but they lack championship potential, and the media pressure would be enormous.

Zhu Kai volunteers for BLG

BLG’s roster for the new season is finalized, but the head coach position remains undecided. Daeny is still negotiating and likely won’t join. Available free-agent coaches include Mao Kai, Bigwei, and the long-rested White Crescent, but their chances of going to BLG are slim. If Daeny can’t be secured, BLG’s coaching staff may become a major weakness for the team next season.

Coach Zhu Kai, seeing the delay in BLG’s coaching decision, has expressed interest in taking the role. During a recent livestream, Zhu Kai openly told BLG: if something unexpected happens, I can step in to help. He also revealed that last July, when BLG performed poorly in the Mid-Season Invitational and the Oil Cup, they did approach him. But after BLG’s winning streak in the third split, the idea of changing coaches was abandoned.

Kanavi to enforce team discipline

HLE’s lineup for next year has been officially announced. Recently, during a livestream with the starting five present, Grandma showed off the new team jerseys. Zeus asked Kanavi: which number did you pick for your jersey? Kanavi answered: I originally wanted number 23 (a tribute to Jordan), but since Wanghu is number 11, removing one ‘1’ leaves number 1. Also, as the oldest member, I plan to strictly enforce team discipline.

Grandma’s jersey number is 98 because he debuted on September 8th. Kanavi vowed to tighten team discipline. Honestly, it seems he can’t hold back anymore. Just joining the team and already starting with old-school discipline tactics? After spending so many years in the LPL, he must be really frustrated. When he was younger, he came to the LPL to earn money; now older, he returns to the LCK as a leader. Kanavi’s career plan is quite something—he hasn’t suffered any losses.

Scout struggles with Korean language fluency

NS head coach Dandy recently gave a media interview where he praised Wei as a player with extremely high potential. When they worked together before, Dandy believed Wei could reach very high levels. He also spoke about Scout, saying the younger teammate is ambitious and hardworking, bringing positive energy to the team.

However, early in scrims, Scout occasionally showed moments of struggling with Korean language fluency. It’s somewhat amusing—a Korean not fluent in Korean. But Scout has been in the LPL region for 10 years, communicating mostly in Chinese, which he speaks well. Returning to Korean suddenly makes him rusty, which is understandable. With more practice, he should regain his normal level soon.

Conclusion:

Nowadays, clubs usually have their own cafeterias; BLG likely is no exception. So what role would Zhu Kai play if he joins BLG? Maybe just delivering milk tea or fried chicken for the players. His coaching skills probably shouldn’t be taken seriously—he might be good at giving motivational talks, but if he’s involved in actual game strategy or drafts, it would be hard to watch.

So what do you all think about Zhu Kai’s coaching ability?
