Many players usually follow some LOL power rankings, especially during the World Championship, wanting to see whether the rankings reflect true strength or are just "jinx lists," since every year it seems the top-ranked teams end up getting hurt in the end! This brings to mind the once ambitious LZ team, whose core lineup (Khan, Cuzz, Bdd, PraY, GorillA) was truly impressive. They defeated SKT to secure the number one seed but were upset by the dark horse GEN in the quarterfinals. Back then, both their team and player power rankings were top-tier! Now in S15, BDD has made a comeback by avenging that loss, eliminating GEN and advancing to the finals. It remains to be seen if they can achieve the S7 triple championship script by defeating T1 to win the title! After the S15 semifinals, the official global team power rankings were released!

Among them, T1, who swept three LPL teams in S15, rose two spots to claim the top position on the power rankings! They showed dominance as soon as the World Championship started, consecutively knocking out iG, AL, and TES, maintaining an unbeaten record against LPL teams. They are truly outstanding, as if the Worlds were tailor-made for them! Although they stopped at the semifinals, GEN ranked second, while the finals-bound dark horse KT soared from seventh to third place! HLE ranked fourth, meaning LCK’s four teams completely occupy the top four spots on this list! This perhaps reflects the strength of LCK—still so stable—and why they remain our main challengers!

AL ranked fifth, and although they were eliminated by T1 in the quarterfinals, their performance was likely the most satisfying for LPL fans, as they had some standout moments and fought hard! TES came in sixth, climbing one spot despite being swept by T1 in the semifinals. BLG, eliminated in the round of 16, ranked eighth, and iG placed twelfth! This power ranking considers the entire year’s performance, not just the World Championship results; otherwise, BLG wouldn’t be so high! The fact that LCK dominates the top of the rankings shows there is still a gap for the LPL region—when will we finally overcome it?
