T1 defeated 100T with a 2-0 score! Dominating map control and vision, Quid’s Akali gave it her all.

In the S15 World Championship Swiss round BO3 between T1 and 100T, after two battles, T1 swept 100T 2-0, bringing their record to 2-2, while 100T faced elimination.

In the first game, 100T fielded Aphelios top, Wukong jungle, Sylas mid, and Varus plus Alistar bot; T1 had Renekton top, Xin Zhao jungle, Taliyah mid, and Corki with Leona bot. At 10 minutes, T1’s Xin Zhao ganked top, securing a kill on 100T’s Aphelios despite tower diving, but Aphelios traded back by taking down both T1’s top and jungle with turret help. At 11 minutes, Quid’s Sylas solo killed Faker’s Taliyah mid. Early on, T1 destroyed the first tower bot and secured two dragons, but 100T led in kills 6-2, with both teams having roughly equal gold.

In the mid-game at 21 minutes, T1 initiated on Baron Nashor; 100T’s Wukong secured the Baron, but T1 outnumbered and killed three 100T players. At 23 minutes, both teams fought over the dragon; after a 1-for-1 trade top lane, T1 secured the dragon soul. At 25 minutes, 100T found an opportunity in the jungle, killing two T1 top and jungle players and taking the first Elder Dragon. Later at 32 minutes, 100T started the Elder Dragon again, but when T1 arrived, 100T engaged decisively. Gumayusi’s Corki was instantly killed, but Faker’s Taliyah, despite low health, managed to assist multiple kills. T1 turned the fight, wiping out 100T 5-for-2 and claiming the Elder Dragon and Infernal Soul. At 40 minutes, a mid-lane skirmish saw 100T’s Aphelios instantly killed; T1 then took the Elder Dragon, and when 100T tried to contest, they lost four players. T1 wiped 100T and won the first game. The highest damage dealer was FBI’s Varus for 100T, and for T1 it was Gumayusi’s Corki.

In the second game, 100T selected Rumble top, Pantheon jungle, Akali mid, and Kai’Sa with Rell bot; T1 went with Galio top, Jarvan jungle, Orianna mid, and Xayah with Neeko bot. At 7 minutes, 100T’s jungle Pantheon ganked mid, killing Faker’s Orianna, and Quid’s Akali secured first blood. Early exchanges were even, with T1 taking the first mid tower while 100T secured Rift Herald. Faker’s Orianna performed a 1v2 kill against Rumble top, and the early gold remained balanced.

At 23 minutes in the mid-game, T1 quickly secured the dragon soul. Then, T1 decisively engaged, killing four 100T members and taking Baron Nashor. At 27 minutes, 100T caught T1’s mid and jungle in the jungle but hesitated on Baron, allowing T1 to revive and catch 100T’s jungle out. Subsequently, T1 took the first Baron. At 28 minutes, T1 claimed the Infernal Soul without taking damage. At 29 minutes, 100T’s support Rell misstepped initiating a fight, and T1 countered by killing four 100T players, securing the match victory.
