GEN2-1 defeats T1, securing their 29th victory! Guma's Yuena underperforms while Chovy deals massive damage.

During the third stage of the LCK regular season, T1 and GEN faced off in a three-game series where GEN emerged victorious 2-1, marking their 29th win!

In the first game, T1’s roster was Renekton top, Xin Zhao jungle, Orianna mid, and Tristana plus Poppy in the bot lane; GEN countered with Sion top, Vi jungle, Ahri mid, and Kai’Sa with Neeko bot. During laning, GEN’s bot lane gained the upper hand, and Canyon’s Vi executed a tower dive to kill T1’s bot duo, securing first blood for GEN. Later, Doran’s Renekton managed a 1v2 kill against Duro’s Neeko. In the subsequent dragon fight, GEN dominated with a 1-for-4 exchange, while T1 secured the Rift Herald. However, when Doran’s Renekton failed to initiate properly during the Rift Herald push, GEN counterattacked and turned the fight around with a 4-for-0, gaining a 3K gold lead early on.

In the mid game contest over Elder Drake, Doran’s Renekton was instantly killed from behind, and Keria’s Poppy flash engage also failed, resulting in his death. However, Faker’s Orianna teleported behind enemy lines, allowing T1 to 3v5 and take down two GEN members, securing the Elder Drake. At 32 minutes, GEN claimed the Dragon Soul and then in a chaotic fight, Canyon’s Vi was instantly taken out. T1 then focused down Kiin’s Sion and secured the first Baron. At 38 minutes, during a dragon fight, Chovy’s Ahri was flanked and killed one-on-one by Doran’s Renekton. T1 secured the Dragon Soul, killed GEN’s top and mid laners, pushed to the base, and completed a comeback to win the first game. The highest damage dealer in game one was Gumayusi’s Tristana for T1, while Ruler’s Kai’Sa led damage for GEN.

In the second game, GEN’s lineup was Gwen top, Pantheon jungle, Galio mid, and Zeri with Rell bot; T1’s roster featured Rumble top, Trundle jungle, Ryze mid, and Sivir with Renata bot. During laning, T1’s bot lane made mistakes and fell far behind, resulting in a lane collapse. GEN then repeatedly targeted Doran’s Rumble in the top lane, securing two dragons early and establishing a 2K gold lead.

In the mid game, T1 attempted to catch Kiin’s Gwen, but Chovy’s Galio ultimate came to the rescue, and Ruler cleaned up the team fight, allowing GEN to easily wipe T1. At 21 minutes, GEN secured the Elder Drake and again wiped T1’s team. Finally, at 23 minutes, Kiin’s Gwen flanked with Chovy’s Galio entering the fight, enabling GEN to secure a clean 4-for-0 and win the second game decisively.

In the third game, T1’s lineup consisted of Urgot top, Skarner jungle, Viktor mid, and Yuena with Gatum bot; GEN fielded Quilladin top, Wukong jungle, Annie mid, and Jhin with Rell bot. During laning, T1’s mid-jungle-support trio ganked and killed Chovy’s Annie, giving Oner’s Skarner first blood. Later, in a dragon fight, GEN killed T1’s jungler and AD carry, securing two dragons early and gaining a 2K gold lead.

In the mid game, Kiin’s Quilladin ulted back to kill Doran’s Urgot, and GEN secured the Elder Drake. At 22 minutes, Doran’s Urgot was caught and killed bot lane again, allowing GEN to claim the Dragon Soul. At 26 minutes, GEN killed T1’s jungle and support in the bottom jungle, then caught Faker’s Viktor mid, securing the first Baron. At 28 minutes, GEN took the Infernal Soul. Finally, at 33 minutes, GEN decisively started a team fight mid, wiped T1’s team, and claimed the match victory.
