Let’s start with the core aspect: the quality level of this skin is in a completely different league compared to previous brave skins. If I were to rate it, I’d call it a “precious brave skin.” Most brave skins only change color effects in a very basic way, where all skills share the same hue. However, the Aurora Phantom skin uses a combination of blue, green, and yellow tones. This multi-color effect creates a visually appealing look. Although no new elements were added, its appearance rivals some epic skins, making its quality clearly superior.

Previously, the first skin for a new hero was initially sold only for 60 vouchers in an instant purchase, then later became available in the store for 488 vouchers. After about three months, it would appear in the skin fragment shop for players to exchange. This time, however, the official changed the approach: from launch, players can either buy it for 60 vouchers or exchange 48 skin fragments, offering freedom of choice. Despite a small hiccup right after today’s update, all players can now exchange 48 fragments to get this skin for free. I expect this skin will top the new releases chart, surpassing the position held by the Sanxingdui collaboration skin of Shao Siyuan.

The color scheme is well chosen.

The Aurora Phantom skin mainly uses a blue color palette, which is known for producing high-quality skins. Compared to other colors, blue combinations tend to look more aesthetically pleasing overall. Specifically for this skin, it completely transforms Chizha’s image. The classic look is yellow-based with a darker tone, giving Chizha a “science girl” vibe that feels a bit rough. Aurora Phantom, however, shifts Chizha into a cute, adorable style, creating a strong contrast with the original and naturally making it more appealing.
