Hello everyone, I’m Gamer Xiao Di.
Tomorrow, Cao Cao’s KPL limited skin Aspiration of the Sky will go live, marking the second skin under the updated KPL exclusive skin plan. The first was Lu Bu’s Aspiration War Halberd introduced at last year’s finals. Both skins remain Brave quality and cost 60 points. Conveniently, Cao Cao also has a Brave exclusive skin called Victory Grand Slam priced at 60 points. This time, let’s compare the two skins and see how they perform.

From the posters, both skins have distinct designs. Aspiration of the Sky places the Sacred Dragon Cup in the palm, which is likely the first among nearly 20 KPL exclusive skins to do so, making it very fitting for the tournament theme and quite innovative. Victory Grand Slam, on the other hand, features a pure sports style, showing Cao Cao mid-jump swinging a racket, which looks dynamic and powerful. I generally appreciate such action poses and rate them highly.

Regarding modeling, both skins are finely detailed. However, Aspiration of the Sky follows a half-mecha, half-human style, which is common in the arena already, so this design doesn’t stand out much. The only highlights are the KPL logos on the shoulders and the entrance seat. Victory Grand Slam’s sporty outfit is very unique and eye-catching, with a significant change in the anchor point since the weapon is replaced by a tennis racket.
As for effects, although both are Brave quality and don’t add many new skill effects, the difference between them is quite clear—Aspiration of the Sky has noticeably better effects.

First, it features more diverse colors. Aspiration of the Sky’s skill effects use a combination of purple and yellow, creating a stitched effect which is quite rare among Brave skins. Usually, Brave skins have single-color or gradient effects, like Victory Grand Slam which mainly uses orange-yellow tones.

Second, it includes new elements. The added feature in Aspiration of the Sky is the KPL logo, which prominently appears during the ultimate skill. Regardless of aesthetics, this new element is genuinely integrated and very noticeable, allowing players to immediately recognize it. Victory Grand Slam doesn’t seem to have new elements, but adding some tennis-related details would have been a nice touch.

Overall, Aspiration of the Sky is definitely worth purchasing. It’s reasonably priced at just 60 points, and since it’s a direct sale, it won’t be re-released later. Don’t miss out if you like it~
