Wolf Team will change both sides of their starting lineup and three supports this year; the only team truly capable of ending AG’s consecutive championships is Wolf Team.

The 2025 KPL Summer Season has fully wrapped up, and AG Super Play took the championship with ease, securing their sixth straight title! Originally, WB was expected to trouble AG a bit, but after watching the games, it’s obvious the two teams aren’t even comparable.

There’s no need to elaborate on the first game. Facing AG without a frontline duo is basically asking for trouble. Do you think AG is TTG? Allowing zero frontline heroes to recklessly dive in? The playoff peak showdown showed the standard strategy: the jungler must be a tank jungler, no exceptions. Picking Lanling King to target the so-called Xiao Qiao? Are you playing ranked? Xiao Qiao always stays isolated, letting your Lanling King dive in? If you want to counter Xiao Qiao, Lǐ Bái is stronger than Lanling King. So, what happens without a frontline? You don’t dare to take vision, nor engage in team fights. Without an initiator or tank to absorb damage, you’re forced to take hits passively.

In the second game, Zhang Liang and Wang Zhaojun let you play out like this. You just camp on the side lane with Zhang Liang and Wang Zhaojun? Take a look at how Wolf Team plays these heroes. This is their point-scoring combo, something you can’t copy but still insist on picking, while AG plays steadily. Zhang Liang runs off to help the jungler clear camps? Look at how AG and Wolf Team do it — that’s purely unaggressive. Always waiting for AG to initiate so you can counterattack, but the opponent charges head-on, and you never pull ahead economically. You don’t dare to start fights proactively, and when passive, you can’t counterattack, so you just get beaten up.

In the third game, ironically, as the red side, your previous draft was at a disadvantage. It’s well-known that drafting as red side is easier this year; if you can’t win as red, winning as blue is even less likely. Like before, you refused to pick a true frontline initiator, letting AG control the draft. If the last pick isn’t a marksman, the best last pick for WB would have been Lü Bu, but they chose Sun Shangxiang instead. Theoretically, the optimal setup would be Gā Luó, jungler as Kǎi, and side lane Lü Bu. Do you really think AG is that easy to beat?

Therefore, after watching the AG vs. WB matches, most fans still place their hopes of ending AG’s winning streak on Wolf Team!Although Wolf Team reached the playoff semifinals, they were the only team that truly pressured AG in head-to-head matches. We underestimated Wolf Team; at least in the playoffs, they managed to put AG in a tough spot. With any advantage, they’d invade AG’s jungle to disrupt the rhythm and dive towers for kills. When behind, they’d still fight back rather than sitting idle and waiting to die.

Additionally, some fans revealed that Wolf Team plans to change three starters next year: the top lane, the farming lane, and support! If that’s true, Wolf Team remains a team to watch!

Unexpectedly, after being weak all season, Cheng Yaojin suddenly rose at the end. Near the season’s close, the developers buffed Cheng Yaojin in two main ways: first, his attack power boost after losing health changed from a percentage-based increase to an immediate attack boost upon damage taken. Moreover, for every 1% health lost, he gains an extra 4 attack points. The attack bonus at low health is much higher than before, reaching nearly 600 at the extreme, equivalent to stacking four Broken Army items.

Secondly, the health cost of Cheng Yaojin’s skills was significantly reduced. The health lost when using Exploding Twin Axes and Blazing Spin dropped from 10% to 8%, and using Justice Potential now costs 12% health instead of 16%. This is an epic-level enhancement.

Both his survivability and damage output have improved overall, and Cheng Yaojin shined at the season’s end. Just three days after the buff, his win rate skyrocketed to 51%, which is truly remarkable.
