Summer Split regular season MVP candidates: Fly is not qualified, AG has two nominees but likely won't win.

Ahead of the KPL Summer Playoffs, the league revealed the regular season MVP shortlist. The four players named are AG Super Play’s Zhongyi and Changsheng, Wolves’ Xiaopang, and TTG’s Xiaoxue. Fly missed out on a nomination this time because his regular season performance wasn’t strong enough.

Zhongyi recorded 4535 average damage per minute in the regular season, a 6.41% damage conversion rate, and absorbed 71,885 damage per death—all leading among S group junglers. His jungle economy is meticulously managed, and his counter-jungling routes are precisely calculated. With his Tiger Fist moves roaring through the battlefield and his spear breaking enemy lines, Zhongyi’s hero pool is ever-changing, but his sharp jungle awareness remains constant.

Zhongyi’s nomination was actually expected by most. Although there were some doubts, after returning from Saudi Arabia, he displayed FMVP-level skills. AG’s ability to sweep four S group teams in the third round owes a lot to Zhongyi’s performance!

If Zhongyi can be nominated, then Xiaopang certainly deserves a spot among the MVP candidates as well!Xiaopang earned 18 MVP awards during the regular season, with a damage share of 20.43%, and averaged 721 gold per minute—all ranking first among S group junglers. His item builds are diverse and his playstyle is unique, with flexible teamfight pacing. With the Eye of Origin, he dares to fight even when behind, while with the Blade of Shattered Mirror, he slices through teams with ease when ahead. He’s the unyielding engine of the team’s rhythm and their guiding light.

The Wolves only managed to secure a spot in the winner’s bracket thanks to Xiaopang’s exceptional individual ability! However, in the first round of the winner’s bracket, they’re facing AG. No matter how strong Xiaopang is, if the other four teammates don’t step up, Wolves still won’t be able to beat AG!

TTG making it into the winner’s bracket this season was a surprise to many. It must be said, under Jiu Zhe’s leadership, TTG has truly transformed. Jiu Zhe’s decision to bench Feng Xiao and promote Xiaoxue also proves his keen eye for talent!During the regular season, Xiaoxue averaged 6132 damage per minute, had a 28.60% damage share, and just 1.07 deaths per game—all leading among S group gold laners. His game sense surpasses that of a rookie, and he has the mentality of a superstar. Whether dashing through the sands or suppressing enemies with mechanical firepower, his supreme output philosophy stems from immense confidence in his own mechanics.

For TTG to break through in the winner’s bracket, they need to funnel resources to Xiaoxue. Once he gets the gold, Xiaoxue can deliver the results they want! However, judging by past trends, it’s more likely that resources will go to Xiaopang!

The reason Lü Bu has such a low win rate in the solo lane is that he’s too weak early on. As a support, whether it’s a 2v2 in lane or roaming with the mid and jungle, there’s always a teammate to follow up on his damage! All you need to do is use your ultimate to lock down enemies and maximize your own damage output.

Recommended build: Shadow Axe, Resistance Boots, Pure Sky, Dawn, Magic Slicer, and Dominator’s Heavy Armor. This setup offers maxed cooldown reduction, high durability, and decent damage, with no concerns about sustain. The double shield from his second skill combined with Dawn makes him incredibly tanky.
