The league is already discussing Mobley for Alphabet! The U.S. media lists a 4-for-1 plan for the Cavaliers and Bucks to achieve a win-win situation?

On May 22, Beijing time, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, the Cavaliers' plan to trade Mobley for Bucks star Antetokounmpo has been mentioned in negotiations with league executives and agents.

Antetokounmpo has yet to request a trade from the Bucks, but for the first time in his career, he is reportedly open to leaving Milwaukee.

Mobley, who will turn 24 this summer, was named an All-Star for the first time this season and was named Defensive Player of the Year. Mobley is averaging 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 blocks per game this season and 16.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game in his career with the Cavaliers.

Last summer, Mobley signed a five-year, $224 million contract extension with the Cavaliers. As a result of his 2024-25 Defensive Player of the Season award, a clause in his contract was triggered to increase his salary cap from 25 percent to 30 percent for the first year of his rookie extension. As a result, the Cavaliers' salary is expected to reach $219 million for the 2025-26 season, surpassing the second-tier legacy.

Previously, celebrity Bill Simmons mentioned the possibility of Mobley changing his brother on the show.

Simmons said: "I think if I were the Cavaliers, I would agree to [this deal for Mobley for Alphabet]." I think it's a great deal. The question for the Cavaliers to consider is, should they overreact to their performance in the playoffs? Or say: 'Garland is injured and Mobley is out for the second game. The series got out of hand, but we were still strong and we won 64 regular season games. The opposing argument would be that you could have a team of Mitchell, Garland and Antetokounmpo that would immediately become the favourites in the East if the competitiveness of the East dropped. ”

It can be a win-win deal. From the Bucks' perspective, they can get an All-Star interior player who is more than six years younger than their brother and start rebuilding mode. The U.S. media also listed a related 4-for-1 trade plan, specifically the Cavaliers sent Mobley, Okoro, Strus, and a 2031 first-round pick to exchange for Antetokounmpo from the Bucks.

The Cavaliers, the top seed in the East, lost 4-1 to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of this year's playoffs, and Mobley missed the second game with an ankle injury. The Bucks also lost 4-1 to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs this season, and to make matters worse, All-Star guard Lillard suffered a torn left Achilles tendon in Game 4 and could miss the entire 2025-26 season. This is also the reason why many people think that Brother Alphabet may apply for a deal.

The Bucks signed Antetokounmpo to a three-year, $175 million contract extension in October 2023. He is a two-time MVP, a Finals MVP, a Defensive Player of the Year and a nine-time All-Star, and has played for the Bucks so far.

As a superstar forward, he averaged 23.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks per game in his career, and 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game when he played for the Bucks this season.
