Thunder star Alexander was named Western Conference Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career and second time this season. Hawks star Trae Young was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the ninth time in his career and second time this season. James, Doncic, Curry, Harden and other stars were nominated.

Alexander averaged 44 points, 6.7 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1.3 blocks per game last week, shooting 54% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 100% from the free throw line to help his team beat the Rockets, Grizzlies and Nuggets, respectively. He missed the game against the Trail Blazers, which the Thunder also won. The Thunder went 4-0 last week.
