Lakers officially announce preseason schedule: two games each against Warriors and Kings, plus a home game against the Nuggets

On July 22, Beijing time, the Los Angeles Lakers officially announced their 2026-27 preseason schedule today. The centerpiece is a special matchup against the Golden State Warriors on October 14 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The Lakers will have two home preseason games at their home arena: on October 9 against the Sacramento Kings and on October 17 against the Denver Nuggets. The purple and gold will kick off the preseason with two consecutive road games: on October 6 in Sacramento and on October 7 in Golden State to face the Warriors.

Tickets for the game at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will go on sale on July 25; tickets for preseason games at the Lakers' home arena will go on sale in August.

The Lakers' roster has undergone major changes during the offseason. LeBron James has confirmed his departure and is currently a free agent. Players from last season's rotation, including Rui Hachimura, Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, Jaxson Hayes, and Deandre Ayton, have also left the Lakers. Several new players have joined.
