Lundberg wins double MVP! NBA announces Summer League All-Tournament Teams: Boozer and Wilson selected to First Team.

On July 22, Beijing time, the NBA announced that Warriors rookie forward Axel Lundberg received his second accolade in his first month in the league, being named the Las Vegas Summer League MVP, having just won the Summer League Finals MVP. The 2026 Las Vegas Summer League MVP and All-Tournament Teams were determined by a vote of all 30 teams. Lundberg also made the Summer League First Team.

Almost all five members of the First Team are 2026 lottery picks: Boozer (3rd pick), Wilson (4th pick), Burris (10th pick), and Lundberg (11th pick) occupy four spots; the remaining spot goes to another rookie, the 34th pick Thomas.

Thomas was the scoring leader of this Las Vegas Summer League, playing 4 games, averaging 29 minutes per game while scoring 27.3 points, along with 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2 steals, with impressive shooting numbers: 50% from the field, 43.8% from three, and 100% from the free-throw line.

Burris and Wilson also played 4 games each, with nearly identical scoring numbers, averaging 23.5 points per game on 50% shooting. Wilson also averaged 7.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game, but his 5.3 turnovers per game were the highest among all Summer League players.

Lundberg averaged 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.5 steals, while Boozer averaged 18.5 points, 8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 steals. Their scoring numbers were not explosive, but they were well-rounded, and each led their team to the Summer League Finals, where the Warriors defeated the Grizzlies to win the championship.

The First Team was composed entirely of rookies, while the Second Team included four players from the 2025 draft class, among them three lottery picks. Plein is the exception: he went undrafted in 2024, has played only 8 NBA regular-season games since, and is currently on a two-way contract with the Timberwolves. He played 5 Summer League games, averaging 21 points and 7.8 assists.

Marouach was the Summer League rebounding leader, averaging 12.8 rebounds along with 19.5 points; Coward averaged 19 points with a 41.7% three-point percentage; Demin averaged 21 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.7 rebounds; McNeeley made 10 of 19 three-pointers (52.6%) and averaged 21.7 points.
