Smith was the third overall pick in the 2022 draft. Last season, he started all 77 games as a power forward, averaging 35.1 minutes per game with 15.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, shooting 45% from the field and hitting 2.3 three-pointers per game at a 36.3% clip. In this year's playoffs, he averaged 42 minutes per game, contributing 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1 steal, with a 38.8% field goal percentage and 3.2 three-pointers per game at 37.3%.
