The Golden State Warriors are one of the top teams chasing the four-time MVP. Renowned NBA reporters Marc Stein and Jake Fischer report that James has not yet decided his free agency, but if he is determined to leave the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors will definitely pursue him. However, salary will be a major obstacle,Stein and Fischer reveal that the maximum offer the Warriors can make to James is only $15 million.
Multiple media outlets have previously reported that even if he leaves the Lakers, James wants to stay in the Los Angeles area, and apart from the Clippers, the Warriors are the team closest to his home.
