Two tickets for 4.04 million RMB! Knicks Finals ticket prices are staggering: could buy a house in Oklahoma City

As of May 25th Beijing time, the Knicks are leading the Cavaliers 3-0 in the series. Another victory would send them to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999, and the price of front-row seats has surged dramatically.

According to reports, two courtside seats at center court in Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals are priced as high as $595,000 (approximately 4.04 million RMB). Newsday reporter Steve Popper wrote, "If you happen to have a spare $595,000 lying around… you can snag two premium seats for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden." He also joked that this amount of money could even buy a house in Oklahoma City.

Earlier reports indicated that even tickets for the Knicks' Eastern Conference Finals games were already very expensive. According to data from ticketing platforms, the lowest ticket price for Game 1 of the East Finals was $557, for Game 2 it was $510, for Game 5 (if needed) it was $809, and for Game 7 (if needed) it was $1,194.

The last time the Knicks won an NBA championship was back in 1973. The Knicks will continue their road game against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, aiming for a 4-0 sweep to advance to the Finals. It's worth noting that Cavaliers star James Harden has never been swept in his career. If the Cavaliers lose Game 4, it would be the first time Harden's team is swept.
