On February 22nd Beijing time, US media clutchpoints posted a graphic reflecting on Harden's influence after joining the Cavaliers, with the caption —

Harden has played just 5 games in this new era, and the Cavaliers have already secured 5 wins. Harden is in phenomenal form, commanding the floor as an elite playmaker, precisely the kind of leader the Cavaliers urgently required. Over these 5 victories, Harden totaled 92 points, 43 assists, and 25 rebounds, averaging 18.4 points, 8.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds, with a shooting percentage of 49.1% and three-point accuracy at 48.1%.

But shouldn't we also praise Jarrett Allen? Before the Beard arrived, Allen’s performance this season wasn’t particularly outstanding. With Harden feeding him the ball relentlessly, Allen has evolved and upgraded dramatically; his stats in the past 5 games have exploded, and his presence is more intimidating than ever.
Before Harden joined, Allen’s averages were 13.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 60.5% and a true shooting percentage of 64.5%. Since Harden’s arrival, Allen’s last 5 games show averages of 22.6 points and 11.2 rebounds, shooting 76.3% from the field and boasting a true shooting percentage of 76.8%.

In an interview this week, Harden admitted: “Allen is even stronger than I imagined. He can catch the ball and finish with both hands around the rim. His touch inside is excellent, and I think that’s the most underrated part of his game. I just try to get him the ball in the right spots so he can play comfortably.”
Clutchpoints also noted that the Cavaliers have suddenly transformed into a super team in the East. But the question remains — can this team really catch the Pistons and claim the top spot in the Eastern Conference? There is still a significant gap in their records. The Cavaliers stand at 36 wins and 21 losses, ranked third in the East, while the Pistons lead with 41 wins and 13 losses. The gap between the two teams is 6.5 games, though the Cavaliers are just one game behind the second-place Celtics.
