Congratulations, congratulations.
Thompson has signed a lifetime contract with Anta, marking 12 years of cooperation since 2014, during which more than 10 million pairs of "KT series" signature shoes were sold.

So far this season, Thompson, now with the Mavericks, has played 49 games with 8 starts, averaging 22.1 minutes per game, scoring 11.6 points, grabbing 2.4 rebounds, and dishing out 1.4 assists, shooting 38.8% from the field, and making 2.9 three-pointers per game at a 37.5% clip.
Until the trade deadline this year, he was on the trading block but ultimately remained with the team.

Thompson’s current contract expires in the summer of 2027. This season, he earns $16.67 million, with a salary of $17.46 million next season. At 36 years old, his NBA career is nearing its end, but as mentioned, he is financially secure even after retirement.

In fact, Thompson is far from needing money. His estimated total NBA career earnings are about $300 million. As long as he avoids bad investments, he can enjoy life and leisure comfortably for the rest of his days.

Frankly, Thompson probably shouldn’t have left the Warriors. Being a one-team player is a huge plus, and most importantly, it allows him to stand with his longtime teammates through thick and thin.
