On February 14th Beijing time, Mavericks star and four-time champion guard Klay Thompson signed a lifetime contract with Anta in Los Angeles.

Reports indicate that during All-Star Weekend, Anta launched its first physical retail store in the U.S. At the event, Anta unexpectedly revealed the lifetime sneaker contract with Klay, which will last beyond his playing career, delighting the entire audience.
Anta CEO Xu Yang personally attended the event and presented Thompson with a shiny silver KT11 as a commemorative gift. There was also an exhibition area showcasing the 12-year journey of Klay’s partnership with Anta.

Thompson wore a custom “Klay For Life” jacket throughout the event, smiling broadly.

After leaving the Golden State Warriors and parting ways with his championship teammate Curry, he faced tough times but has now found a new home in Dallas. Both on and off the court, things are thriving: rookie Cooper Flagg impressed the world in his first season, and Klay’s relationship with rapper Megan Thee Stallion made him a hot topic overnight. Now, Klay has another reason to be happy — he officially announced his lifetime sneaker deal with Anta at the Los Angeles All-Star Weekend.
Thompson has been part of the Anta family for 12 years, with his personal sneaker line selling over 10 million pairs, a key reason the brand pushed for a long-term renewal. Will this new lifetime contract attract his former backcourt partner Stephen Curry to join him and Irving at Anta? We will wait and see.
