Nets' 28-year-old marksman leads multiple teams to compete! The Lakers are interested in him and the Warriors are seen as a dark horse

On July 25, Beijing time, according to the New York Post reporter Brian Lewis, the Lakers, Kings and Magic are all interested in Nets forward Cam Johnson. The Spurs, Raptors and Warriors are seen as potential dark ponies to get Johnson.

After sending Bridges away, the Nets have entered a full rebuild. The 28-year-old Johnson has three years and nearly $69 million left on his contract, and he could well be the next player to be sent away.

Johnson has played five seasons in the NBA, averaging 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 27.6 minutes per game, shooting 44.6% from the field and 39.1% from three-point range. His outside shooting ability has clearly piqued the interest of other teams.

"After the Nets traded Johnson's longtime friend Mikal Bridges and expressed their intentions to swing around, veterans like Johnson, Finney-Smith, Schroder, Ben Simmons and Bojan Bogdanovic have all entered the trade zone," Lewis noted. But the latter three's contracts are about to expire, and it makes more sense to keep theirs. Trading Johnson and Finney-Smith seems logical, with more expected to pay off by trading Johnson. "With Brooklyn in rebuilding mode, breaking up with Johnson is the best option for both parties.

According to Bleacher Report, it all makes sense for the Lakers, Kings and Magic to get Johnson. The Lakers need more outside shooters to take the burden off James and Davis. The Kings are still looking to bolster their roster after trading for DeRozan. The Magic, who qualify for the playoffs and are eager to go further, may need more scoring help after getting struggling on the offensive end.

For Johnson, his time with the Nets should be coming to an end, and the question is which team's jersey he will wear next season. Which team do you think Johnson will join? Feel free to leave a message to express your opinions.
