Curry and Under Armour officially part ways! He will become a free agent in the sneaker industry, with the Curry brand operating independently.

On November 14th Beijing time, according to reporter Shams, Warriors star Curry has officially ended his long-term partnership with Under Armour. Curry’s independent project, the "Curry Brand," will continue to operate separately. The sneaker line co-developed by Curry and Under Armour will proceed as planned through 2026, but Curry himself and the "Curry Brand" have entered free agent status in the sneaker market, free to choose new partners.

Under Armour and Curry announced today their plan to spin off the Curry Brand from Under Armour, concluding over a decade of collaboration that redefined professional sports products and athlete-driven narratives. Moving forward, Under Armour will focus on its core brand, developing a new basketball line and continuing to support athletes and related projects at all competition levels.

According to the separation agreement, Curry will gain independent operational rights from Under Armour. Under Armour will still release the Curry 13 sneakers in February 2026 as planned — the last co-branded shoe in their partnership. Additional colorways and related apparel for this model will be launched gradually before October 2026.
