In the third quarter, Carter continuously attacked the basket and scored, Bane made a jump shot from the free throw line; Sharp scored repeatedly both driving and shooting from outside, Holiday made an easy layup, Sharp completed a 2+1 to chase, and the Magic maintained a slim 66-65 lead. Black made a cutting layup, Carter hit a long-range shot, Banchero scored 7 points both inside and outside, Carter made a mid-range jumper, Bane hit a mid-range shot, and Howard’s three-pointer also went in, helping the Magic widen the gap. At the end of the quarter, the Magic led 87-76.

In the final quarter, Bane and Carter both scored on layups inside, Wagner hit a three-pointer, helping the Magic extend their lead to 96-83.
