On November 7th Beijing time, Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo claimed he bravely stopped a woman from having her wallet stolen. However, Bucks teammate Bobby Portis said on a show that the whole story was fabricated, causing a stir.

During the show, the host asked Portis, “Is it true that Giannis stopped a woman from having her wallet stolen?”
Portis responded, “That’s just too fake! How can anyone believe something like that?”
Parsons chimed in, saying, “Man, I don’t even know what to believe anymore.”

Portis continued, “Last week we had a costume party, everyone dressed up. I remember the next day we had either practice or a game against the Kings. When he showed up, he had a black eye, so I asked him, ‘Bro, are you okay?’ He said, ‘Don’t mention it, I got robbed! I was at Pick ‘n Save buying stuff…’ I thought, ‘This is ridiculous,’ and then he actually told the media about it. It’s completely made up.”
Portis added, “With social media and cameras everywhere nowadays, if this really happened, there would be footage already. TMZ would definitely pay big money for that video. TMZ might even offer Pick ‘n Save $50,000 for the clip, and the store would agree immediately.”
Parsons interjected, “They’d probably accept even $500.”

The host then said, “Alright, the truth is out! This was a lie, and it’s now confirmed.”
Giannis has not yet responded to this, but this Bucks star is known for joking around.
