Is Morant completely untradeable? Multiple executives show no interest in him: contract issues combined with off-court troubles

Including this year, Morant’s contract still has three years left worth $126 million. After a loss to the Pistons, Morant gave a clear answer when asked by reporters if he still felt as happy as before: “No, I don’t.”

The Grizzlies’ new head coach Isola openly questioned Morant’s leadership and attitude after a game against the Lakers, and the star player responded with what management described as “inappropriate and disrespectful” remarks. According to insiders, this tense exchange happened in full view of all teammates. Morant was subsequently suspended for one game due to behavior detrimental to the team.
