According to sources from the Shanghai men's basketball beat reporter,the team's foreign roster for the upcoming season consists of Lofton, Goodwin, Fu, and Whiteside.

The latest news indicates that Whiteside has arrived in Shanghai and will temporarily be training at the team’s base with a foreign coach.

Whiteside, whom everyone calls "White Edge," has had a distinguished NBA career, averaging 12.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game in the regular season, 7.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the playoffs, twice crowned block leader, once rebounding champion, and once selected for the All-Defensive Second Team, among other honors.
