On October 6th Beijing time, the Clippers' training camp went on, with Leonard and Paul taking interviews after training, and Harden being the final player to leave after practice.

In today's interview, Leonard revealed he plans to play in the Clippers' preseason opener. "Definitely playing. The purpose of training camp is exactly that—to get ready and adjust for the season. I believe all of us will see playing time."
Leonard mentioned that unlike last season, it is crucial for all players to be involved from the very start of training camp. The Clippers have four preseason games scheduled, three of which are against NBA teams.
When asked why he kept training in June after the Clippers were eliminated in the first round, Leonard explained: "It was to ensure my body stayed strong. I didn’t want to stop; I aimed to keep going for about another month to let my body adapt to high-intensity competition. This wasn’t solely about chasing a championship—obviously, I want to win—but at that time, I wanted to test my physical condition and see how much I had recovered."
Asked about the key areas to improve from now until the end of the preseason, Leonard replied: "We need to enhance our offensive execution and speed up the pace on offense... On defense, everyone must help each other, understand their positioning, and know their rotation responsibilities."

Regarding teaming up with new addition Collins, Leonard said: "Having another player who can guard bigger wings and also defend centers is definitely a plus." About his defensive role, he added: "I can still defend. When facing top-tier players, I can keep up with their pace."
When asked how he and Paul met beyond being opponents and now teammates, Leonard said he was a Jordan Brand athlete before signing with New Balance; Paul mentioned that during his first stint with the Clippers, Leonard gave a speech at Paul's basketball camp in San Diego.
After joining the Clippers, Paul received messages from former teammate Griffin. Speaking about this, Paul expressed gratitude: "Bro, that’s so cool, really awesome. I believe Griffin will come to watch a game this year. DeAndre Jordan and I still keep in touch. Even though Reddick is now a Lakers coach, I still chat with him often. There are many others like Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford—we all stay tightly connected. Maintaining these friendships means a lot."
Paul also told Chinese reporters: "I have always loved China, and the Chinese fans have given me tremendous support. I definitely want to visit again!" Upon learning that over 2,000 people watched his interview live at 3 a.m. in China, Paul quickly greeted them with a "Ni hao" in Chinese.

Several Clippers beat reporters noted that 36-year-old Harden was the last player to leave training today. He put in a lot of extra work on three-pointers and mid-range shots. Previously, Harden stated his current physical condition is the best of his career.
