World Junior Figure Skating Championships Women's Singles Champion Kamila Valieva of Russia

"Valieva's political career? To be honest, I didn't talk to her about it. She is a person with a lot of personality, thanks to the TV. Her name became a household name and could continue to be used. There's also a business part, and it's not free. She might hire a manager to handle these things and create an image," Rodnina told Sport24.

As a result of doping, Valieva lost the gold medal in the women's singles at the 2022 European Figure Skating Championships, the gold, silver (2022) and bronze medals in the women's singles (2021) and bronze medals (2023) at the Russian Figure Skating Championships, the silver medal in the women's singles at the Russian Grand Prix Finals (2023), as well as the awards at the Grand Prix.
