Canada's famous female flying fish McIntosh broke her own women's 400-meter medley world record in the Canadian World Swimming Championships trials on the 11th local time.

On June 8, Mackintosh set a world record in the women's 400m freestyle final with a wide lead of 3:54.18. On June 10, Mackintosh broke the world record in the women's 200m medley with a time of 2:05.70. On June 12, Mackintosh set a new world record in the women's 400m medley with a time of 4:23.65. In addition, in the women's 800m freestyle, Mackintosh's time of 8:05.07 was the third fastest in the event's history. In the 200m butterfly, he swam the second-fastest time in history with a time of 2:02.26.

Born in August 2006, Mackintosh began to make her mark at the 2022 World Swimming Championships in Budapest, where she showed her dominance in the pool with three golds and one silver at last year's Paris Olympics.
