South Korea's world No. 1 Olympic champion and world champion Ahn Se Young easily defeated Thailand's world No. 8 Lee Mi Miao in the women's singles quarterfinals of the 2025 Indonesia Badminton Super 1000 Tournament on the 6th local time in just 38 minutes, and reached the semifinals for the fifth time in six tournaments this year.

Ahn Se Ying defeated Lee Mei Miao 21-11, 21-10, winning all 11 meetings between the two sides so far. An Se Ying made it all the way to the semi-finals of this year's Indonesia Open, all of which were won in two games, showing her strength far beyond other women's singles.
This is her sixth event of the year, having already won the Malaysian Super 1000, All England, India Super 750 and Orleans Super 300, with only last week's Singapore Super 750 defeat to China's former Olympic champion Chen Yufei in the quarter-finals.
And this week, Ahn Se Ying, who is participating in the Indonesia Open for the fifth time in her career, will look to win the tournament for the second time since 2021.
