Kunlavut reached the men's singles final of the 2025 Singapore Championships, and has won three consecutive international tournaments

On May 31, local time, Kunlavut defeated Lin Junyi in the men's singles semifinals of the 2025 Singapore Badminton Super 750 Tournament, and entered the finals of three consecutive international tournaments.

Thailand's world champion Kunlavut defeated Chinese Taipei's world No. 19 "left-handed heavy" Lin Junyi (world No. 19) 21-11, 25-23 in the men's singles semifinals on the same day, and continued to lead the overall head-to-head record with 4-2.

World No. 2 Kunlavut will next look to win three consecutive international tournaments, following his earlier Asian Championship summit and Thailand's Super 500 home title. Kunlavut will face China's Lu Guangzu (world No. 15) in the top half of the men's singles, who defeated Christo in the other men's singles semi-final. Popov (world No. 23) reached the final.
