The Badminton Masters Qualifiers and Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles main events kicked off at 10am local time on Tuesday, with 10 men's doubles and four women's doubles teams in action. Three Malaysian men's singles liberos Kwok Jing Hong, Edil and Tan Ka Kit will compete in the qualifiers against rising Chinese star Hu Zhe An, Chinese Taipei's Huang Yu Dai and Vietnam's Nguyen Hai Deng.
