World No. 11 Chinese Taipei pair Lin Yunru/Gao Chengrui defeated the Italian pair Muti / Pubo 3:1 in the first round of the men's doubles at the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships on the 17th local time and successfully entered the round of 32.

In this year's World Championships, Lin Yunru and Gao Chengrui joined hands for the second time, facing the world No. 164 Muti/Pubo in the first round, and scored 10 points in a row after falling behind 1:3 in the opening game, and won 11:3 first.
