World No. 5 Xie Dingfeng and Su Weiyi have faced world No. 16 Dechapo and Gidtinupong twice, at the 2019 Badminton Asia Championships and the India Open earlier this year, both of which were won by the Xie Su pair.

This is also the second consecutive international tournament finals after winning the 2025 Asian Badminton Championships.
