Ranking points will expire for three tournaments, including the Saudi Grand Slam in 2024. In addition, the ranking points for the 2025 European U21 Table Tennis Championships have been added, and the rankings for both men and women have changed.
In the men's singles world rankings, Teruma Matsushima set a new best result at 19th
In the men's singles world top 10, the ranking of 1~7 did not change, and A. Lebrun (France) rose from 9th to 8th. Xiang Peng (China) and Jokic (Slovenia) rose two places respectively to rank 9th and 10th. There have also been a lot of changes in the men's singles top 10 rankings. Among the Japanese players, Matsushima Teruku moved up three places to enter the top 20 for the first time, while Shinozuka dropped eight places to 29th and Yutai Tanaka rose three places to 41st.
On the other hand, the women's singles world top 11 rankings remained unchanged. Japan's Hashimoto Honoka moved up one place to a new top position at 12th. Romania's Szokos moved up to 13th. In terms of other Japanese women, Miyu Nagasaki rose one place to 21st, Sakura Yokoi rose three places to 30th, and Hitomi Sato also rose two places to 40th.
