1.01 Playing Field

As shown in Figure 1:

a. The playing field is divided into an in-bounds area and an out-of-bounds area. The inner area is a right-angled fan, and the out-of-bounds area is a right-angled fan

The "L" shaped area 5 meters outside the line, the others are invalid areas.

b. The venue may have special rules for the stadium according to the actual situation.



1.02 How to draw the playing field (refer to Figure 1)

a. The top corner of the sector is home plate, and the three square markers in the counterclockwise direction are: first base, second base, and third base. The distance between the bases is 9 meters. The pitcher (libero) is 8 meters from the top corner of the fan.

b. The arc of the fan is the home run line, and the home run distance (radius of the fan) is 20 meters.

c. The tee seat should be placed at the apex of the fan-shaped court.

d. The striking area is a circular out-of-bounds area with a diameter of 4 meters and a fan-shaped apex at the center.

The takeover area is located behind the restriction line that extends 1 meter backward at the top corner of the fan.

f. The strike limit line is an arc with a radius of 2 meters centered on the top corner of home plate.

g. The effective area of the shot is a circular area with a diameter of 4 meters, and its center is a fan-shaped apex.

The scoring line is a reverse extension of the first base line and is 3 meters long.

i. The guidance area is a circle with a diameter of 2 meters, and the center of the circle is 3 meters outside the first and third bases.

j. The reserve hitting area is a circle of 2 meters in diameter, with the center of the circle 5 meters from the top corner of the fan and 3 meters from the sideline.

k. Various lines within the playing field, each of which is 5 cm (or 7 cm) wide.
