Shohei Ohtani starts again against a fierce NL West rival, aiming for his sixth win of the season on the road against the Diamondbacks.

Los Angeles Dodgers’ two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani will take the mound for the 10th time this season on June 4 at 9:40 AM Beijing time at Chase Field against division foe Arizona Diamondbacks. It marks Ohtani’s return to the pitcher’s mound after a six-day break, as he seeks his sixth victory of the season, while the Diamondbacks will counter with Zac Gallen as their starter.

In his previous outing on May 28 at home against the Colorado Rockies, Ohtani started as both the leadoff hitter and starting pitcher, tossing six innings while allowing only one run, yielding no hits, and striking out seven batters, showcasing dominant command on the mound.

Although he has not yet reached the minimum innings pitched, Ohtani has posted an impressive 5-2 record with a 0.82 ERA over his first nine starts of the season, continuing to demonstrate elite-level pitching ability in the majors.

As for the Diamondbacks, they were recently swept by the Seattle Mariners, suffering three consecutive losses. As of June 1, their record stands at 31 wins and 27 losses, placing them third in the NL West.
